Shelly and her family lived in the city of Brașov full-time for nearly 15 years, and maintain a residence there where they love to host family, short-term guests, and retreats for the traveling creator. Fall 2025 Itinerary

Travel Day

  • Arrive at Lambert International Airport in St, Louis, MO

  • Travel to Bucharest, Romania

Day 1 

  • Enjoy a traditional Romanian meal at a nearby restaurant

  • Drive through the mountains to Brașov, Romania via private driving services (approx. 2.5 hours)

  • Settle into rooms, enjoy light Hors d'oeuvres and local wines or soft drinks, short orientation about the week

Day 2

  • Breakfast and Creative Mindfulness Journal session

  • Departure to Bran Castle

  • Lunch and tourism at Bran

  • Shopping and/or art creation opportunity

  • Return to house for change, short rest

  • Creative Expression Challenge Cocktail Hour

  • 5-course meal prepared by European Celebrity Chef, Liviu Preda

Day 4

  • Breakfast and Creative Mindfulness Journal session

  • Departure to downtown Brașov 

  • Lunch and tourism in Brașov

  • Return to house for short rest

  • Creative Expression Challenge Cocktail Hour

  • 6:00pm departure to restaurant in Poiana, Brașov

Day 5

  • Breakfast and Creative Mindfulness Journal session

  • Departure to Rașnov, Romania

  • Lunch and tourism at the Citadel in Rașnov

  • Walking/writing opportunity

  • Return to house for short rest

  • Creative Expression Challenge Cocktail Hour

  • Dinner in Brașov

Day 6

  • Breakfast and Creative Mindfulness Journal session

  • Departure to Sinaia

  • Lunch and tourism at Peleș Castle

  • Shopping and/or art creating opportunity

  • Return to the house for a short rest

  • Creative Expression Challenge Cocktail Hour

  • Departure to restaurant in Brașov

  • Travel day home

*Pricing will be available by May 1, 2025. Exact dates will be announced at this time. Sightseeing activities are subject to change based on availability and weather. Estimated costs per participant will be between $7,550 and $8,000 This will include mandatory travel insurance, international airfare from St. Louis, MO, all transportation, and meals upon arrival at Lambert International Airport until departure from Otopeni International Airport in Bucharest, Romania. These prices reflect estimates in 2024 and are not guaranteed. Registration will open May 1, 2025, and close on June 30, 2025, or earlier if all spots are filled.
